Chef Narayan’s Royal Touch

Born into a family of first-generation hoteliers and a passionate home chef, Chef Narayan’s tryst with food began early in life when he entered the magical world of hotel cuisine at India’s finest beach resorts in Kerala.

Inspired to become an Extraordinary Chef, Narayan trained at the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Gwalior India. He interned with India’s top chefs, honing his culinary skills. Narayan went on to work with India’s leading hotel chains such as the Imperial hotel in New Delhi, The Oberoi hotels, The Aman Resorts Featuring interesting menus that resulted from years of research, a variety of Indian flavors to create food that not only satiates the stomach, but also the soul.

Having cooked for many presidents, prime ministers and celebrities, his culinary style resurrects recipes from ancient times.
Thus, using spices more like medicine as well as adding flavors.

Narayan moved to Portugal with the desire to spread the flavors of India. He founded the United Kitchens of India, a
culinary destination offering eclectic Indian cuisine from across the country.

Mrudula Rao

Born into a family of hardcore vegetarians, she is a great supporter of vegetarianism, giving the menu a wide variety of vegetarian options.

“Guest is God” being a hardcore belief, Mrs Mrudula opened her first called Masala Mantra to begin exploring the idea of serving true Indian cuisine to guests accustomed to the European version of Indian food.

The idea of serving food beyond the not-so-Indian khormas and puff pastry-based samosas, Thus was born the idea of
“United Kitchens of India”

A cuisine without borders within the country

To be that place where we can satisfy desires of all types, while keeping the essence and soul of the dish intact. Supporting the food concept with true Indian hospitality to ensure no guest leaves home “Hungry or angry”.
